My wife and I have had the pleasure of knowing Gene for over twenty years. I met Gene at a Maryland biker bar where many custom bikes could be seen on a regular basis and after a short conversation with Gene I found out he was an artist that specialized in custom bikes and cars. He showed me some pictures of his work and I decided that I would like Gene to paint my Harley. We worked together to create a theme for the artwork and what resulted was my first Garbowski masterpiece…………the Triceratops Bike. That year I entered my bike, along with many other Garbowski creations, into the Baltimore Bike Show. Eleven of the trophy winners at that show were painted by Gene. Since then Gene has produced for me and my wife three garage murals, five oil paintings, numerous custom paintwork for my bikes and golf kart, and our favorite -The Imaginarium Room. Not only is Gene a truly talented artist he is a genuinely one of the nicest persons we know and we are very glad we met those years ago and have remained good friends since.
